The Role:

• Help us continue to activate our analytics strategy by working on key business problems that deliver results and delight our residents

• Gain hands on experience working with our cloud analytics platform to build a variety of analytical solutions such as dashboards, models, causal inference and more.

• Build technical skills using SQL, Python and Power BI while also getting the opportunity to communicate your findings to internal business partners

• Partner closely with other analytics roles such as data engineering, data science, data analysis and data governance
  

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years completed towards bachelor’s degree in data science, business analytics, statistics, operation research, computer science, or related field

• Experience with R or Python and familiarity with SQL

• Exposure to statistical concepts such as machine learning or Bayesian statistics
  

Knowledge & Skills:

• Curiosity and drive to dig deep into disparate data sources

• Strong technical skills with the ability to learn new tools quickly

• Comfortable communicating technical results to a non-technical audience

• Must be highly motivated and able to work full-time during the summer of 2023 in the Des Moines corporate office

Estimated Salary Range: $20/hr

The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience and other relevant factors.
