We are a busy and well-loved Japanese sushi restaurant located in the heart of Monterey, known for our fresh ingredients, excellent service, and inviting atmosphere. We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team and help keep our kitchen running smoothly.

Responsibilities:

• Wash dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment promptly and thoroughly
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and dishwashing area
• Assist with basic food prep or cleaning tasks as needed
• Ensure all equipment is cleaned and stored properly
• Support kitchen staff and follow all safety and hygiene guidelines

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting preferred, but not required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
• Must be reliable, punctual, and have a positive attitude
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 pounds
