We are seeking a Flight Operations Intern for our Flight Operations team to join our rapidly expanding, dynamic organization!

WHAT THE ROLE ENTAILS:

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Flight Operations Intern. In this role, you will work closely with the Flight Operations department to assist with research & analysis, operational tasks, and administrative tasks. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the airline industry and develop valuable skills.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

• Collect, process, and analyze flight data to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement in flight operations
• Utilize statistical techniques and data visualization tools to present findings to relevant stakeholders
• Create meaningful, real time reports
• Assist members of the Flight Ops department as needed
• Assist with special projects in the flight operations department
• Administrative tasks as assigned
• Prepare presentations for meetings with internal and external stakeholders including the board of directors and senior management team

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE:

• Aviation or airline post-secondary schooling is considered a strong asset but not a requirement
• Strong organizational skills and impeccable attention to detail.
• Tech Savvy with high proficiency in Excel & PowerBI
• Ability to react with appropriate levels of urgency to situations and events that require quick response or turnaround.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Adaptable and able to switch tasks quickly and with ease.
• Excellent judgment.
