Hostess Cashier

Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Host/Cashier to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service while managing the flow of guests and handling transactions. This role requires a passion for hospitality and a commitment to creating a welcoming atmosphere.

Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage seating arrangements to ensure an organized dining experience.
• Handle cash and credit transactions accurately using POS systems, including Aloha POS and Micros POS.
• Answer phone calls with professionalism, providing information about menu items, reservations, and special events.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area.
• Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction.
• Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly, ensuring a positive dining experience.
• Support restaurant operations by performing additional duties as needed, including assisting with serving when necessary.

Qualifications

• Previous host/host or cashier experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with effective phone etiquette.
• Familiarity with food service operations and basic serving techniques is advantageous.
• Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
