American Water Contract Services operates and maintains the water supply and distribution system assets owned by the City of Camden Division of Utilities. Primary Role

The Intern position will reside in the Finance department and support the Military and Contract Services companies. They will work closely with the finance team by contributing assistance in month end close, financialanalysis, contract support, system compliance and various projects and initiatives. This is a highly technical position that builds on the basic financial tools and problem-solving capabilities.

Key Accountabilities

• Support month end close analysis
• Provide information related to financial audits.
• Support government compliance requirements
• Collaborate with staff in various departments including Accounting, Cash/Treasury, Accounts Payable, andTax.
• Special projects as assigned.

Experience/Education

• Pursuing a degree in Accounting or Finance.
