Lawyer

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide legal advice and opinions on corporate, commercial, labor, civil, and regulatory matters.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, memoranda, and other legal documents.
  • Ensure the company's compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and government requirements.
  • Represent the company in legal proceedings, administrative hearings, mediation, and negotiations, as authorized.
  • Coordinate with external legal counsel, government agencies, and regulatory bodies on legal matters.
  • Conduct legal research and provide recommendations on legal issues affecting the company.
  • Review company policies, procedures, and business transactions to identify and mitigate legal risks.
  • Assist in handling labor relations, employee disciplinary cases, and legal compliance involving employment laws.
  • Manage litigation, claims, disputes, and legal cases involving the company.
  • Oversee the safekeeping and management of legal records, contracts, permits, and corporate documents.
  • Monitor changes in laws and regulations and advise Management on their impact on the company's operations.
  • Conduct legal awareness or compliance training for employees when necessary.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of all legal matters and company information.
  • Perform other legal and compliance-related duties as may be assigned by Management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) or Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree.
  • Member in good standing of the Philippine Bar.
  • At least one (1) year of relevant legal experience is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Philippine corporate, labor, civil, commercial, and regulatory laws.
  • Excellent legal research, drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and legal research tools.
  • High ethical standards, integrity, and sound professional judgment.

Pay: Php75,000.00 - Php80,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
