We are looking for a junior letting agent, entry-level role to join our fantastic team. The job description may vary depending on the specific company, but here are some common responsibilities for a junior letting agent.

Your role:

  • Property maintenance: The junior letting agent may be responsible for ensuring that the property is well-maintained throughout the tenancy period. This may involve arranging for repairs and maintenance work to be carried out.
  • Marketing properties: The junior letting agent may assist with marketing the properties being let. This may involve creating property listings and advertising them on various platforms

Your skills:

  • Attention to detail: Letting agents need to be detail-oriented to ensure that all necessary paperwork and legal requirements are in order. They must also be able to spot potential issues with properties during viewings and inspections.
  • Excellent communication skills: must be able to communicate effectively with a range of people, including tenants, contractors, and colleagues. Strong verbal communication skills are essential.
  • Organizational skills: Managing multiple properties and tenants can be a complex task, so letting agents must be highly organized and able to manage their time effectively.
  • Customer service skills: Letting agents must be able to provide a high level of customer service to both landlords and tenants, responding to enquiries promptly and courteously
  • Sales skills: The ability to sell properties and convince prospective tenants to rent is a critical skill for letting agents.

Salary: Competitive+ Bonus

Training: Once you are successfully selected, you will receive a series of training to assist you do this job.

Part-time hours: 20 per week

Salary: £18,371.84-£62,371.59 per year
