The internship position within PayPal’s Office of the Chief Information Security Officer is a perfect fit for those looking to learn about the day-to-day operations of the company and gain practical experience in multiple aspects of the business. Our Business Operations team serves as a central coordination hub for business operations support in enterprise-wide or parent organization efforts as it relates to partnering with Finance, HR, PMO, Communications and other cross-functional organizations. We promote solid execution and fact-based decision-making across the organization. You’ll work alongside the Business Operations team to support business operations, planning and program execution, and help create new initiatives. You’ll assist on aspects of day-to-day business operations, including workforce management, financial governance, investment decisioning, program management, communications, stakeholder engagement and employee engagement. As a core participant of your team, you’ll assist with standardizing relevant processes and procedures across the organization to drive effectiveness and continuous improvement.

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct research and analysis on emerging cybersecurity issues that may impact PayPal’s strategy and policy, and present key findings and recommendations
• Participate in the development and execution of cybersecurity policy and strategy guidance, communications, and engagements
• Develop and support the dissemination of cybersecurity strategic messaging to external audiences
• Participate in the development of cybersecurity awareness events and campaigns

• Knowledge of cybersecurity and privacy principles
• Knowledge of cyber threats and vulnerabilities

Internship Program Information and Requirements:

• This is a Summer 2024 Internship program. Spring and Fall 2024 internships are not available.
• Must currently be pursuing bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or public policy, or related field, from an accredited college or university.
• Must be returning to school in the Fall of 2024.
• Must reside in the U.S. during the Summer internship program.
• Must be able to obtain authorization to work in the U.S. for the summer.

The U.S. national hourly pay range for this role is $21 to $55.
