Paralegal

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Political Science, Psychology, or related courses
• Paralegal Training or Paralegal work experience is preferred but not required
• Required Skill(s): Computer MS Word, Excel, Power Point, etc., Good Communication Skills, English Proficient
• Familiar with Google Drive and all its functions, MS Teams, Zoom, Viber and other updated forms of communication.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Coordinating with the lawyers reminding them of hearings, deadlines, to do’s etc.
• Arranging the schedule of hearings, meetings, client interviews
• Assisting the lawyers in hearing preparation (case folders, necessary things/papers to bring)
• Assisting the lawyers in the preparation of zoom meetings, online hearings via MS Teams etc.
• Editing of Pleadings format via Microsoft word for signature of lawyers and arranging the same for filing.
• Preparation of annexes and exhibits for pleadings such as printing and photocopying.
• Drafting of simple letters to client
• Simple Legal Research
• Organizing and managing client folders, files, documents.
• Scheduling of messengerial tasks
• Input details in a log sheet via google sheet (case invoice, case list, case update, incoming and outgoing documents) *
• Making follow-ups with the clients, the court, government agencies/offices, etc.
• Conduct liaising and coordination with various government regulatory offices, Outside Notarization
