The Opportunity Calling all students seeking an internship in 2023 + 2024. Pfizer Ireland have opened applications to students who are studying related areas in Science, Biotech and / or Engineering disciplines. Our internship program is open across Dublin, Cork and Kildare where we offer students the chance to complete at least a 6 month placement on one of the aforementioned sites. We are offering a fantastic training and development opportunity to committed students who are excited about a potential career in biopharma. The successful intern will also have the opportunity to apply to our award winning graduate program with the goal to obtaining a graduate position once you complete your degree. About our sites Grange Castle facility produces the MRNA drug substance, making it only the second plant outside of our flagship factory in Andover, Massachusetts to do so. Pfizer Ringaskiddy API’s student placement program (currently in its 32nd year) will take place at the award winning Pfizer Ringaskiddy API’s site in Cork. The site plays a critically strategic role within Pfizer, being one of the default sites for new global API product scale up and launch campaigns The manufacturing site in Newbridge, Co Kildare, offers specialized expertise in complex oral solids and capabilities ranging from pilot to commercial scale. The facility has over 25 years of experience in contract manufacturing and supplying medicines to patients around the globe. The site is 800-colleague strong, with 10,000+ years of collective expertise. Requirements:
Emphasis is required for courses related to Electrical\Electronics, Automation\Mechatronics, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical or Environmental, Health, and Safety, or similar. The successful candidate should:

• Be completing an honors degree (or equivalent / higher) in an Engineering or Science related discipline.
• Be available for at least a period of 6 months placement.
• Liaise with your careers team in your current university on recruitment process.

Recruitment Process/Next Steps:
Step 1 - There are two parts to Step 1.

• Part A. Apply with CV completing application questions. Please ensure that you state your site / location preference on your application (Kildare, Cork, OR Dublin)
• Part B. Shortlisted candidates will be sent a Questionnaire via an email link from our Recruitment Partner, Psychologic. You will be given a timeline to have this completed by.

Both steps need to be completed in order to be considered for next round.
Step 2: Online Aptitude Tests – Once you successfully complete Step 1, you will be invited to participate in Step 2 where you will complete online aptitude tests to make sure that Pfizer is the right place for you. This will be communicated to you via email.
Step 3: Interview – should you be successful at Step 2; you will be invited to attend interview onsite.
Step 4: Pre-employment screening. Successful applicants will be contacted by our colleagues in Cpl with details of your offer, next stages, and details for pre-employment screening.
