The incumbent will assist the senior photographers and are responsible for capturing the big day for weddings and sytlised shoots for family, baby and professional shots.

They work closely with the clients to ensure that every important moment is preserved in photographs.

Photographers must be able to anticipate what will happen next so they can be ready to take the perfect shot at just the right time. They also need to have a good eye for composition and design—they’re not just snapping pictures of people standing around awkwardly; they’re creating art that captures the emotions of this special day.

Job Duties

Photographers have a wide range of responsibilities, which can include:

Managing client relationships and working with them to create a vision that will be captured in images and videos

Shooting pictures of the bride getting ready for the event, including details such as the bride’s hair, makeup, and accessories

Editing photos using software programs and providing prints of the edited photos for clients

Shooting photos of the bride and groom at the wedding ceremony and reception

Shooting candid photos of guests during the reception or other events leading up to the wedding

Creating a shot list of which photos need to be taken at each event or location during the wedding day
