Product Manager

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and organised Product Manager to oversee the operational health, security, compliance, and continuous improvement of three enterprise applications.

This role combines Product Operations and Product Management. You will ensure the applications remain secure, compliant, and reliable while working closely with the Senior Product Manager to drive product enhancements, roadmap execution, and stakeholder engagement.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys operational ownership and is looking to grow into a strategic Product Management role.

Key Responsibilities

You will:

• Manage the end-to-end security patching and vulnerability management lifecycle across enterprise applications.

• Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely implementation of security patches, vulnerability remediation, and technical deliverables.

• Manage production support, including incident triage, issue tracking, escalation, and resolution.

• Execute scheduled compliance and governance activities, including user access reviews, privileged account reviews, risk assessments, audit support, and security reviews.

• Monitor operational risks and ensure timely resolution of identified issues.

• Organise and facilitate regular operational meetings, track action items, and follow up with stakeholders and vendors.

• Manage vendor performance and ensure contractual commitments and service deliverables are met.

• Support contract administration, software certificate renewals, resource utilisation tracking, and inventory management.

• Work closely with the Senior Product Manager to maintain the product backlog, track roadmap milestones, coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), prepare release documentation, and communicate product updates.

• Gather feedback from users and operational support activities to identify opportunities for product improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• At least 3 years of experience in IT Operations, Systems Management, Product Operations, Product Management, or a related field.

• Experience supporting enterprise applications in a production environment.

• Hands-on experience with security patch management, vulnerability management, IT governance, compliance reviews, audit support, or access management.

• Experience working with external vendors and managing technical deliverables.

• Strong organisational and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Candidates with the following experience will have an advantage:

• Product Management or Product Operations experience.

• Backlog management and product roadmap tracking.

• User Acceptance Testing (UAT) coordination.

• Enterprise middleware platforms.

• Cloud platforms such as Government Commercial Cloud (GCC).

• IT governance, cybersecurity, or audit environments.
