Job Description

Location: Singapore, Singapore Thales people architect solutions that support 85 million mainline and suburban passenger journeys, worldwide, every day. Project Intern (NEL, Software) Thales runs the state-of-the-art Integrated Supervision & Control System (ISCS) of the NorthEast Line (NEL) in Singapore. The person joining the team will be working on the development of the ISCS. This system is a large distributed system in operation, built on Thales internal supervision & control technology, interfacing with various MRT facilities. Responsibilities:

• Analysis of the application data interfaced to various MRT facilities
• Automation of the development process
• Participate in the data visualization and verification
• Support the team in any other areas within the scope of software development life cycle

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science or a related field and interested in doing software engineering
• Experience with usage of operating systems such as Windows or Linux
• Experience writing code fixes and tools to solve problems in one or more of the following languages is a plus: Python, Excel VBA
• Good interpersonal skills, writing and verbal skills
