Project Manager

The Project Manager provides oversight, project management expertise, and cross functional coordination for the university’s transfer student success technology platform in partnership with Damour Solutions and institutional stakeholders. This position ensures continued refinement of Phase I (public facing transfer equivalency tool) and leads institutional coordination for Phase II (time to degree functionality) and Phase III (undergraduate progress dashboard).

The Project Manager applies project management methodologies, understands curricular structures and academic policies, and leverages technical knowledge to align system development with institutional goals. The role requires strong communication skills to support collaboration with academic colleges, advising units, IT, and administrative leadership. This role does not manage a budget or allocate project resources, but is responsible for guiding timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder engagement.


  • Oversee refinement, accuracy, and continuous improvement of Phase I transfer equivalency technology.
  • Coordinate development, stakeholder alignment, and institutional readiness for Phase II time to degree planning functionality.
  • Lead collaboration for Phase III undergraduate dashboard development, including degree progress indicators, on track markers, and course need analytics.
  • Serve as a key partner with Damour Solutions to review deliverables, verify functionality, monitor timelines, and support iterative system enhancements.
  • Coordinate cross functional engagement with academic colleges, advising leadership, the Registrar’s Office, Information Technology, and Institutional Research.
  • Ensure technology functionality aligns with academic policies, degree pathways, curriculum requirements, and student success objectives.
  • Apply project management frameworks to define scope, track milestones, document decisions, and escalate risks or dependencies.
  • Identify system gaps, map processes, and recommend improvements to streamline degree planning, transfer evaluation, or academic operations.
  • Develop executive summaries, project updates, business process documentation, and presentations highlighting progress and student success outcomes.
  • Research and identify grant opportunities related to student success innovation, transfer pathways, and degree completion initiatives.

This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 2 years of project management or coordination experience.

Degree Equivalency Clause: Four years of direct experience for a bachelor’s degree.
  • Senate Bill 1310- The Florida Senate (https://www.flsenate.gov/Session/Bill/2023/1310) is conditional upon meeting all employment eligibility requirements in the U.S.
  • SB 1310: Substitution of Work Experience for Postsecondary Education Requirements
  • A public employer may include a postsecondary degree as a baseline requirement only as an alternative to the number of years of direct experience required, not to exceed:
  • (a) Two years of direct experience for an associate degree;
  • (b) Four years of direct experience for a bachelor’s degree;
  • (c) Six years of direct experience for a master’s degree;
  • (d) Seven years of direct experience for a professional degree; or
  • (e) Nine years of direct experience for a doctoral degree
  • Related work experience may not substitute for any required licensure, certification, or registration required for the position of employment as established by the public employer and indicated in the advertised description of the position of employment.
  • Minimum Qualifications that require a high school diploma are exempt from SB 1310.
