Join our dynamic dental team as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) and become a vital part of delivering exceptional oral healthcare! Responsibilities
Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, including general dentistry, prosthodontics, surgical procedure, and pediatric dentistry
Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and materials, ensuring aseptic techniques and infection control protocols are followed
Take dental X-rays, including digital imaging and 3D scans, while maintaining patient safety and comfort
Manage medical documentation and records accurately within Eaglesoft, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations
Perform vital signs assessments and monitor patient health before procedures to ensure safety
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions in a friendly, professional manner
Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments as a dental receptionist when needed
Skills
Proficiency in dental assisting techniques including chairside assisting, four-handed dentistry, and maintaining aseptic environments
Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, and dental coding for accurate documentation
Experience operating dental equipment such as X-ray machines, intraoral scanners, and Cerec equipment
Familiarity with EMR systems like Eaglesoft for managing electronic health records efficiently
Understanding of infection control standards and sterilization procedures to uphold clinic safety standards
Ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages, fostering trust and comfort during visits
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality of medical & dental records and documentation

Pay: $18.00 - $28.00 per hour
