Sales Advisor

Doors & Floors is a leading home improvement retailer with showrooms across Dublin and Kildare. We specialise in high-quality composite external doors, internal doors, flooring, and windows. We pride ourselves on being approachable, friendly, and customer-focused, helping homeowners and trade customers find the right solutions for their projects.

The Role

We're looking for an enthusiastic Sales Advisor to join our Naas showroom team. You'll be the friendly face greeting customers, understanding their needs, and guiding them through our product range with confidence and expertise.

What You'll Do

• Welcome customers and understand their home improvement requirements
• Provide knowledgeable, consultative advice on our products
• Demonstrate product features, finishes, and benefits to customers
• Support the sales process and help close customer inquiries
• Manage customer queries with professionalism and care
• Handle administrative duties (quotes, follow-ups, filing)
• Maintain the showroom to a high standard
• Work collaboratively with the team while often working independently
• Stay organised with customer information and sales records

About You

Essential Experience & Skills

• Retail/Sales background with proven sales experience
• Experience with windows and external doors – this is non-negotiable
• Strong communication skills – able to explain technical products in a friendly, accessible way
• Ability to work independently and take initiative
• Excellent organisational skills
• Customer-focused mindset with genuine enthusiasm for helping people
• Reliable and professional

Desirable

• Home improvement industry experience
• Knowledge of other product ranges (flooring, interior doors, etc.)
• Experience with sales systems or customer management tools
• Friendly, approachable personality that puts customers at ease
