Residential Solar Position

Reports to: Sales Manager

Location: Carlow

Type: Full-time, permanent

About The Company

Infinite Energy is an Irish renewable energy company focused on solar PV systems, battery storage, and commercial energy solutions. We are based in Carlow and operate nationwide across Ireland with a primary catchment area of the Midlands and Leinster. We have completed thousands of solar PV installations in the residential and commercial space.

Why this role exists

Our energy consultants do their best work in homes. They survey, size systems, and close. They don't do their best work cold-calling, chasing diaries, or untangling routes.

That's where you come in. You'll keep our consultants in front of qualified homeowners every day, and you'll own the appointment book that sits behind that.

What you'll do

  • Make outbound calls to homeowners from our lead lists, plus inbound enquiries
  • Qualify each lead against a clear scorecard — homeowner status, roof type, electricity spend, decision-maker available
  • Book qualified solar survey appointments into the energy consultants' calendars
  • Sequence appointments geographically so consultants spend less time driving and more time selling
  • Confirm every appointment the day before — bring no-show rates down and keep them down
  • Update the CRM after every interaction. If it's not logged, it didn't happen
  • Communicate directly with the consultants on lead quality and route logic
  • Hit weekly targets on calls made, appointments booked, and appointments held

What we're looking for

  • 1–2 years in outbound sales, telesales, appointment setting, or a similar phone-first role with real KPIs
  • Comfortable on the phone for several hours a day. You don't need a polished sales script — you need to hold a real conversation
  • Disciplined with a CRM. Notes, statuses, follow-ups — clean and current
  • Strong written English for SMS and email follow-up
  • Geographically literate. You can look at a map of Ireland and route a day
  • Hungry. You want to learn this business and grow into a closing role over time

What gives you an edge

  • Experience in solar, home energy, telecoms, financial services, or another considered-purchase B2C sale
  • Previous role in a high-volume environment with daily / weekly KPIs
  • Any exposure to HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho, Pipedrive, or a similar CRM

Compensation

Base: €32,000

Realistic OTE Year 1: Input

Other: Health insurance contribution, paid annual leave, [pension if available]
