The Role

The Accounts Receivable Clerk oversees the full life cycle of customer billing and collections. This individual ensures the financial health of the company’s operations by maintaining margin integrity, ensuring data accuracy, and fostering professional relationships with U.S.-based clients. The successful candidate acts as a bridge between operations and finance, transforming sales data into accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-End Invoicing: Manage the full close-out process, including auditing sales orders for accuracy and calculating markups to hit critical margin goals.
• Financial Integrity: Record close-out journal entries, apply cash receipts, and manage bank deposits with 100% accuracy.
• Strategic Auditing: Conduct regular audits of invoice activity to ensure timeliness and compliance with U.S. standards.
• Client Relations: Proactively communicate with international clients regarding past-due accounts, maintaining a professional and solution-oriented approach to collections.
• Operational Support: Partner closely with Sales and Operations departments to resolve billing discrepancies and streamline financial workflows.

Minimum Qualifications

• Experience: Candidates must possess at least 3 years of dedicated experience in Accounts Receivable or related financial functions, with a proven background in international accounting specifically focused on handling U.S.-based businesses.
• Shift Flexibility: Ability to commit to a Permanent Night Shift to align with U.S. business hours.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong command of MS Office, with Advanced Excel skills being a requirement.
• Education: Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
