Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Assembly Operator to join our dynamic team in a manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for putting together parts or pieces following a set of blueprints or schematics. The Assembler is responsible for verifying correct quantities of parts and checking completed items for quality in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Truck Bed Assembly (i.e. wiring, decals, latches, doors, hardware, toolboxes, etc.)
• Perform touch up paint and inspect for quality of paint jobs (i.e. if any re-work is needed)
• Inspect equipment, structures or materials to identify cause of errors or other problems/defects and to ensure the product is in working order and function
• Prepare and inventory parts and materials for the Assembly Lines
• Maintain a safety awareness attitude along with remaining alert to potential hazards
• Maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization by keeping tools, material and equipment in proper places
• Ensure proper safety procedures are followed and personal protective equipment is worn at all times
• Utilize equipment and material to maximize production and minimize costs for quality control purposes
• Provide production support in other areas as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, and other manufacturing processes preferred.
• Ability to recognize and solve practical problems or issues as they arise
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints is preferred, but not required.
• 1+ year industry experience including assembly is preferred, but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
