About the Team:
The Business Intelligence and Data Analytics team plays a critical role in conducting close-loop data-driven business iterations. As business intelligence specialists and data analysts, our scope of work is not limited to just performance monitoring and reporting, but also in proactively finding actionable insights to help drive high-impact business changes. Our end-to-end data solution reduces the gap between the business teams and technical teams, and achieves real ‘intelligence’ in the iteration cycle.
Job Description:
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to understand business objectives and convert them into clear analytical and data requirements
- Maintain the reliability, completeness, and accuracy of key operational dashboards and finance-related reporting
- Collaborate closely with business and product teams to ensure datasets and reporting structures remain aligned with new feature rollouts and system updates
- Investigate unexpected KPI fluctuations and business anomalies, providing timely root-cause analysis and recommendations
- Work alongside data engineering teams to streamline and enhance data pipelines, transforming raw datasets into scalable data marts
- Perform in-depth analysis on complex business problems within fast-paced and time-sensitive environments
- Utilise big data technologies within the Hadoop ecosystem to support data integrity and scalable analytics workflows
- Develop, automate, and continuously improve reporting solutions to support evolving business needs
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing or has completed a Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from a reputable university with strong academic credentials. Candidates who are currently pursuing their Bachelor’s Degree should be expected to graduate by June 2026, and all candidates must be able to join us by July 2026
- Candidates who meet the above requirements and are currently pursuing a Master’s Degree or above must be able to join us on a full-time basis by July 2026. A Master’s Degree or above is advantageous but not required
- Proficiency in both Python and SQL
- Prior experiences in business intelligence, data analytics, data science or data-driven roles, internship or full-time
- Good knowledge in Pyspark, Pytorch and the Hadoop ecosystem is preferred
- Highly proficient in Excel
- Strong analytical skills with work experience in data-driven analysis under pressure
- Able to make analytical recommendations and provide business insights to the senior management
