Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented butcher to join our team. The ideal candidate should have experience in meat cutting, portioning, and display preparation while following food safety and sanitation guidelines.

Responsibilities:

• Wash and prepare various cuts, including Catfish, Steak, Pork, and Lamb.
• Cut and prepare specific meats such as T-Bone, New York, Ribeye, Chuck Rolls, and Bottom Round as per display and storage needs.
• Portion and package meats, label them with prices, and ensure proper storage in coolers and freezers.
• Assisting customers with cuts and recommendations.
• Check and restock meat inventory before the end of the shift.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety regulations.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a butcher or meat cutter required.
• Knowledge of different meat cuts, portioning, and storage techniques.
• Ability to work in a cold environment and lift heavy items.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work efficiently and maintain a clean workspace.
