Butcher/Meat Cutter

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Meat Cutter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the food industry, particularly in meat preparation and butchery. This role involves preparing high-quality cuts of meat, ensuring food safety standards are met, and providing excellent customer service. The Butcher will play a vital role in maintaining the quality and safety of our products while supporting the overall operations of our establishment.

Responsibilities

• Cutting, trimming, and preparing meats to company standards
• Assisting customers with product selection and recommendations
• Stocking shelves, coolers, and retail displays
• Helping customers in-store and providing excellent customer service
• Preparing displays and maintaining product presentation
• Grinding sausage, portioning products, and packaging
• Maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards
• Assisting with inventory and receiving shipments
• Supporting the team during busy retail hours

Qualifications

• Previous butcher, meat cutting, retail, or kitchen experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Friendly and professional customer service skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Food Safe certification is considered an asset

Pay: $20.00-$26.00 per hour
