Cad Technician

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CAD Drafter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer-aided design (CAD) and will be responsible for creating precise and detailed drawings and schematics that support various projects. This role requires proficiency in industry-standard software and a keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in all designs.

Duties

• Develop detailed 2D using AutoCAD software
• Create and modify schematics, layouts, and construction documents based on project specifications.
• Collaborate with engineers and architects to understand project requirements and implement design changes as needed.
• Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to industry standards before final submission.
• Maintain organized records of all drafts, revisions, and project documentation.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD
• Strong drafting skills with the ability to build accurate representations of designs.
• Knowledge of engineering principles related to drafting is preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
• Strong communication skills to effectively convey ideas and design concepts.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
