Childcare Assistant

Job Overview
La Connexion Francophone is a FRENCH childcare seeking a dedicated and compassionate Childcare Provider to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a commitment to fostering their growth and development in a safe and nurturing environment.

Duties

• Supervise and engage children in various activities that promote their physical, emotional, and social development.
• Educate children through play-based learning, encouraging curiosity and creativity.
• Create a safe and welcoming environment for all children, including those with disabilities.
• Assist in the plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that align with early childhood education standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom setting that promotes learning.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
• Collaborate with other staff members to ensure the best care for each child.

Qualifications

**Must speak French or have basic French in a French immersion capacity*

• Experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting is preferred.
• Strong caregiving skills with a focus on nurturing and supporting children's needs.
• Excellent communication skills to interact positively with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for working in a dynamic environment.
• Relevant certifications in childcare or early childhood education are a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $22.80 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
