Duties

• Deliver freshly prepared food from the kitchen to guests efficiently, maintaining quality and presentation standards.
• Clear and reset tables swiftly to prepare for new guests, ensuring cleanliness and organization at all times.
• Assist servers by bussing tables, refilling water glasses, and providing additional support during busy service periods.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work area, adhering to food safety protocols and restaurant standards.
• Support kitchen staff with basic food handling or preparation tasks as needed, ensuring smooth operation flow.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to relay orders accurately.
• Uphold guest service excellence by engaging politely with guests, addressing their needs promptly, and creating a positive dining atmosphere.

Skills

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety regulations ensures safe and hygienic practices.
• Familiarity with serving techniques, bussing, and basic food preparation enhances efficiency on the floor.
• Experience with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS improves order accuracy and transaction speed.
• Strong communication skills facilitate clear coordination between front-of-house staff and kitchen teams.
• Ability to multitask effectively during high-volume periods while maintaining a positive attitude.
