Duties

• Deliver freshly prepared food from the kitchen to tables swiftly and accurately, ensuring presentation standards are maintained.
• Clear and reset tables promptly after guests leave to prepare for new diners, maintaining cleanliness and organization.
• Assist servers by bussing tables, refilling water glasses, and providing additional support during busy service periods.
• Support food preparation tasks as needed, including plating or garnishing dishes under chef supervision.
• Maintain proper food handling and safety procedures to uphold hygiene standards and prevent contamination.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate timely food delivery and address any special guest requests or dietary needs.
• Use POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders or assist with guest transactions when required.

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, with knowledge of food handling and safety protocols.
• Strong understanding of restaurant operations, including serving, bussing, and basic food preparation.
• Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient order processing.
• Previous banquet or hotel experience is a plus, demonstrating adaptability in diverse hospitality settings.
• Excellent communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members.
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
