Freelance Stage Manager

Commitment: 9 consecutive weekends (Fri, Sat & Sun)

Date: 12 September to 27 September

Salary - $3000 to $3500

We are looking for a reliable and organised Stage Manager to oversee our September event stage area on weekend nights. Each night features two 30-minute performance sets. You will work closely with the Project Manager to ensure both sets run smoothly, on time, and without stress.

This is a focused, low‑stress role – perfect for someone with live event or community theatre experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist performers during rehearsal – ensure everything runs smoothly
• Prepare stage before each performance (safety, props, sound check)
• Confirm performers are present and ready
• Give start/end cues during live sets
• Manage entrances, exits, and minor issues
• Escalate recurring or serious concerns (If Any) to the Project Manager immediately
• Debrief with Project Manager after each night

What You Bring

• Stage management or live event experience (any scale)
• Available all 9 weekends (Fri, Sat & Sun)
• Punctual, calm, clear communicator
• Able to speak Chinese is a plus!

Pay: From $3,300.00 per month
