General Laborer

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Laborer to join our team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will assist in various tasks related to production, assembly, and maintenance within the facility. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with others.

Duties

• Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete tasks.
• Assemble, drill, and label fiberglass utility poles.
• Assist in moving poles within the Granite City location in preparation of fabrication.
• Assist in taking physical inventories of materials and poles.
• Able to work outside in various types of weather.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Experience

• Previous experience in a manufacturing facility or factory setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with operating forklifts is a plus.
• Proficiency in using various hand tools and power tools effectively.
• Ability to operate power tools
• Mechanically inclined with ability to read drawing specifications
• Self-motivated and ability to work independently
• Detail oriented for precision in tasks
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize to meet deadlines

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
