Guest Services Representative

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Guest Service Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional customer service skills and a passion for providing an outstanding experience for our guests. This role requires effective communication, attention to detail, and the ability to handle various guest inquiries with professionalism. As a Guest Service Agent, you will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring their needs are met and enhancing their overall experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide assistance with check-in and check-out procedures.
• Respond promptly to guest inquiries via phone, email, or in-person, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
• Analyze guest needs and provide tailored recommendations for services or amenities to enhance their stay.
• Upsell available services and packages to maximize guest satisfaction and revenue.
• Maintain accurate data entry of guest information and reservations in the system.
• Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Handle guest complaints or concerns with empathy and professionalism, striving for resolution.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized front desk area.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in customer service or hospitality roles is preferred.
• Strong communication skills in English; other languages is a plus.
• Ability to analyze situations quickly and make informed decisions.
• Familiarity with Opera is advantageous.
• Demonstrated sales skills with an ability to upsell services effectively.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on building rapport with guests.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
