Housekeeping Room Attendant

WHAT’S THE JOB?

As a Room Attendant, you play a key role in creating a clean, comfortable, and welcoming space for our guests. After a busy day, our guests rely on you to deliver a room that feels like a place to relax, recharge, or stay productive.

Position Requirements:

• Availability for weekends and holidays is mandatory
• Saturday & Sunday: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Clean and maintain guest rooms and suites to the highest standards, ensuring every space is fresh, inviting, and guest-ready
• Add a personal touch to each room to create a memorable guest experience
• Respond to guest requests promptly and professionally (e.g., amenities, directions)
• Communicate regularly with your supervisor regarding room status, progress, and any maintenance concerns
• Follow all health and safety procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Maintain organization of carts, supplies, and storage areas while minimizing waste
• Monitor and control inventory of linens, amenities, and cleaning supplies
• Accurately log and report lost and found items, and assist in returning them to guests
• Present a professional appearance and wear your uniform with pride
• Work collaboratively with team members and other departments to ensure smooth hotel operations
• Assist with deep cleaning projects and turndown service as required
• Support the team with additional duties as needed

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

• Ability to perform a physically demanding role and remain on your feet for extended periods
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs (23 kg) when required
• Comfortable with bending, kneeling, and repetitive movements
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• Basic literacy and numeracy skills (reading, writing, and simple math)
• Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as required

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.00 per hour
