Responsibilities

• Operate laundry machines, including washers, dryers, and specialty equipment, to process linens, towels, and guest clothing
• Sort laundry items by color, fabric type, and cleaning requirements to ensure proper handling
• Perform quality checks on cleaned items, ensuring they meet cleanliness and presentation standards
• Maintain cleanliness of laundry areas by organizing supplies and adhering to safety protocols
• Assist with dry cleaning processes when applicable, ensuring delicate items are handled with care
• Collaborate with housekeeping staff to coordinate laundry needs for rooms and public areas
• Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment at all times

Requirements

• Prior experience in laundry services or hotel housekeeping is preferred but not required; training will be provided
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and efficiency
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and bending
• Knowledge of laundry equipment operation and cleaning chemicals is a plus
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
