Lawn Care Specialist

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Lawn Care Specialist to join our team and help maintain beautiful, healthy landscapes for our clients. This role involves performing various lawn and garden maintenance tasks, utilizing both manual and mechanical tools. The ideal candidate will have a passion for gardening, horticulture, and landscape maintenance, with a focus on delivering high-quality results. Prior experience with construction equipment or mechanical knowledge is a plus, but training will be provided for specific machinery and techniques. This position offers an opportunity to work outdoors in a dynamic environment, contributing to the enhancement of outdoor spaces.

Responsibilities

• Operate landscaping equipment such as lawn mowers, power tools, and hand tools to perform tasks including mowing, trimming, edging, and planting.
• Assist with landscape installation projects, including soil preparation, planting, and construction of features like patios or retaining walls.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment and tools to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while adhering to safety standards.
• Provide exceptional customer service by ensuring landscapes meet client specifications and expectations.

Skills

• Experience with mowing equipment is preferred but not required.
• Mechanical knowledge related to the operation and repair of landscaping machinery and tools is an asset.
• Ability to operate hand tools (shovels, rakes) and power tools (trimmers, blowers) safely and effectively.
• Familiarity with construction practices relevant to landscape installation or improvements.
• Good physical stamina for outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about outdoor work who want to develop their skills in landscape maintenance and horticulture while contributing to beautiful outdoor environments.

Pay: $15.65-$23.00 per hour
