Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and restaurant management, with the ability to lead and inspire a team. As a Chef, you will be responsible for creating exceptional dining experiences through innovative menu design, high-quality food preparation, and maintaining the highest standards of food safety. This role requires a blend of creativity, leadership, and a commitment to excellence in the food industry.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and design menus that reflect current culinary trends while meeting customer preferences.
  • Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to food safety standards.
  • Lead, train, and supervise kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and positive team environment.
  • Prepare high-quality dishes consistently while managing food preparation processes.
  • Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area in compliance with health regulations.
  • Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new techniques into menu offerings.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
  • In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food preparation.
  • Excellent culinary skills with experience in various cooking techniques and cuisines.
  • Familiarity with bartending is a plus for creating beverage pairings with menu items.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for culinary arts and commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences.

Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal

Pay: $21.00-$23.00 per hour
