Logistics Specialist (Contract)
Your new job includes
- facilitate the creation of Advanced Shipping Notifications (ASN) for inbound shipments while verifying inbound stocks to be accurate as per the set Key Performance Indicator, and that goods' movement from one location to another, is done as per the business requirements in an efficient and timely manner.
- participate during stock take process ensuring that records and actual products tally, and that any discrepancies are reported after conducting root cause analysis.
- participate during periodic inspections to identify slow moving or nearly expiring items to ensure that there are zero products expiring within the warehouse or storage area.
- act on identified returning and damaged goods to ensure that it is returned at the Warehouse duly following compliance requirements.
- assess and analyse on quantity discrepancy issues during pre & post goods receipt during inbound.
- render support to the logistics (Operations Team) in terms of administration work such as Posting Good Receipts in the SAP system as well as supporting the Logistics Team in other activities and projects that may be assigned to you from time to time, while actively living our Heinemann culture and values.
What you should bring along
- a Diploma in Supply Chain and Logistics with at least 3 years of practical experience in Warehouse, Logistics or 3PL environment supporting a Retail or FMCG industry.
- good knowledge of warehouse processes, goods flow and compliance matters relating to luxury products.
- fair understanding of Customs’ requirements as well as bonded warehouse structure.
- good command of English, and ideally, a proficiency in an additional language.
- working knowledge of using MS Office, SAP and other systems relating to logistics and warehouse management.
- a can-do attitude and clear focus on achieving goals within a fast paced and dynamic work environment.
