Medical Assistant (Full-Time)
Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour, based on experience

Position Summary
As a Medical Assistant, you will provide both clinical and administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of our medical office. You'll work closely with providers and fellow team members to deliver high-quality patient care while creating a welcoming, positive experience for every patient.
Responsibilities
- Welcome and room patients while creating a positive patient experience.
- Interview patients and accurately document medical histories and vital information.
- Update and maintain electronic medical records (EMR).
- Assist providers during examinations and procedures.
- Perform venipuncture, injections, immunizations, medication administration, and other laboratory services within scope of practice.
- Prepare patients for examinations and treatments.
- Clean, stock, and prepare exam rooms and medical equipment.
- Process and communicate laboratory results as directed.
- Prepare and distribute patient correspondence, referrals, forms, letters, and faxes.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with providers and team members to ensure efficient daily workflow.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Medical Assistant preferred.
- Medical Assistant certification or degree preferred.
- Proficiency in venipuncture, injections, immunizations, medication administration, and basic laboratory procedures.
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) and medical office software.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to multitask.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate, patient-focused, and service-oriented.
- Reliable, professional, and able to thrive in a busy clinical environment.
