Part-Time Bookkeeper

Part-Time Bookkeeper — Self-Employed Contractor

We're a small bookkeeping and accounts practice based in Swords, Co. Dublin, working with a handful of clients in Ireland and the UK — mainly in recruitment and tech. We're looking for an bookkeeper to take on these clients and manage them with limited day-to-day supervision. There will be a full handover from the outgoing bookkeeper.

The role

• Approx. 10 hours per month, fully remote and flexible
• Self-employed contractor engagement, with scope to grow
• Start date: mid July 2026

What you'll be doing

• Sales and purchase invoice processing
• Bank reconciliation
• VAT return preparation (Irish and/or UK)
• Payroll support

Platforms: QuickBooks Online and Xero

What we're looking for

• Solid bookkeeping experience, ideally across multiple clients
• Proficiency in QBO and Xero
• Knowledge of UK/Irish VAT and ROS
• Able to work independently and manage your own time
