Procurement Assistant Manager

Medi Linx Laboratory is seeking a highly organized and proactive Procurement Assistant Manager to support our clinical laboratory operations. The role is responsible for ensuring the timely and cost-effective procurement of laboratory reagents, diagnostic kits, medical supplies, and equipment, while maintaining compliance with regulatory and quality standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee day-to-day procurement activities within head office, for laboratory consumables, and equipment.
• Source, evaluate, and accredit reliable suppliers in accordance with company and regulatory standards.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and service agreements with vendors.
• Collaborate with laboratory and operations teams to forecast demand and maintain optimal inventory levels.
• Ensure proper procurement and handling of temperature-sensitive and critical supplies.
• Monitor stock levels to prevent shortages, expiries, or overstocking.
• Maintain accurate documentation for audits, compliance, and reporting. Assist in procurement budget planning and cost control initiatives.
• Evaluate vendor performance and implement continuous improvements. Lead and support bidding/tendering processes.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Medical Technology, or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of procurement experience, preferably in healthcare or clinical laboratory operations.
• At least 2–3 years of supervisory or team leadership experience is preferred.
• Amenable to work 100% onsite in Makati Office.
