Position Overview

As a Crew Member, you’ll be an essential part of our restaurant team, working both in the kitchen and front-of-house. You’ll help prepare signature dishes, assist guests with orders, and ensure a smooth, positive experience for every customer. Crew Members are the face of Robinson Valley — welcoming, reliable, and committed to great service.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service & Front-of-House

• Greet customers with warmth and professionalism
• Take and package orders accurately using our POS system
• Answer questions about our menu and make recommendations
• Ensure the dining area is clean, stocked, and welcoming

Kitchen & Back-of-House

• Assist with prepping, cooking, and plating dishes
• Follow recipes and presentation standards for consistency
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and prep areas
• Restock ingredients, supplies, and disposables throughout the day
• Support opening/closing duties and inventory checks

Team & Operations

• Work closely with fellow crew members to ensure smooth service
• Communicate clearly with both the kitchen and front-of-house teams
• Follow NYC Department of Health food safety and sanitation standards
• Represent Robinson Valley’s brand and values in all interactions

Qualifications

• Prior food service or hospitality experience preferred, but not required — we’ll train the right people
• Positive, team-oriented attitude with strong communication skills
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and multitask under pressure
• Reliable and punctual with a professional work ethic
• Physically able to stand for long shifts and lift up to 40 lbs
• NYC Food Handler’s Certificate a plus (or willing to obtain within 30 days of hire)

Compensation & Benefits

• Starting Pay: $16.50–$17.00 per hour + tips
• Flexible scheduling (weekday, evening, and weekend shifts available)
