Restaurant Host/Hostess

Job Overview:
We are seeking an EXPERIENCED and friendly and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Host/Hostess. As a Host/Hostess, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional hospitality and ensuring a positive dining experience. Responsibilities:
- Greet guests with a warm and friendly welcome
- Escort guests to their tables and present menus
- Provide accurate wait times and monitor the waiting list
- Answer phone calls and assist with reservations
- Assist in setting up and clearing tables as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host station
- Collaborate with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth operations
- Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints with professionalism and efficiency

Requirements:
- Previous experience in a hotel or restaurant setting is a MUST
- Knowledge of toast POS system is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations diplomatically
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
- Positive attitude and willingness to help others
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
