Retail Operations Supervisor

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• The Retail Operations Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day operations of a retail store. This includes manpower management, overseeing the store staff's activities, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The Retail Operations Supervisor also plays a key role in developing and implementing company and store policies and procedures.
• Staff Management: Lead, train, and motivate the sales team while creating schedules and tracking employee performance.
• Inventory Control: Oversee stock levels, manage replenishment cycles, and execute loss prevention measures.
• Sales and Reporting: Analyze daily, weekly, and monthly sales data to develop improvement strategies and report directly to management.
• Store Operations: Ensure smooth opening and closing procedures, maintain visual merchandising standards, and enforce health and safety compliance.
• Customer Service: Resolve escalated customer complaints and ensure the team maintains high service standards

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Agribusiness, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in retail or wholesale operations, preferably in meat, food service, or FMCG industries.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Familiar with cold chain logistics, food safety standards, and retail management systems (POS/ERP).
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and team-building skills.
• Willing to travel to store branches and key client sites.
