Roofer

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Roofer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in roofing and a strong understanding of construction practices. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work in various weather conditions. As a Roofer, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining roofs on residential and commercial buildings.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and replace asphalt shingle roofs
• Inspect roofs for damage and leaks; prepare accurate estimates
• Remove old roofing materials and prep surfaces for reroofing
• Install flashing, underlayment, ridge vents, and chimney caps per manufacturer specs
• Maintain a clean, safe job site; adhere to all safety protocols
• Assist with material handling and supporting the roofing crew

• Requirements
• Proven experience as a Roofer or in a similar role within the construction industry.
• Familiarity with hand tools commonly used in roofing tasks.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) regularly throughout the workday.
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work.
• A background in carpentry or maintenance person services is a plus but not required.
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards.

Who We’re Looking For:

• 2+ years hands-on roofing experience
• Strong knowledge of local building codes and best practices
• Comfortable working at heights and in all weather conditions
• Reliable transportation to travel between job sites
• Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
