Salon Assistant

Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and enthusiastic Salon Assistant to support our team of stylists and help provide excellent customer service. The successful candidate will assist with salon operations, maintain a clean and organized environment, and ensure clients feel welcomed and comfortable.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome clients and offer refreshments when appropriate.
• Shampoo and condition clients’ hair as directed by stylists.
• Prepare workstations and ensure tools and equipment are clean and sanitized.
• Sweep floors, tidy styling areas, and maintain overall salon cleanliness.
• Assist stylists with treatments, colouring services, and client preparation.
• Manage laundry, including washing and folding towels and capes.
• Restock retail products and salon supplies.
• Answer telephone calls and assist with appointment bookings.
• Process payments and operate the salon’s point-of-sale system when required.
• Support inventory management and report low stock levels.
• Follow all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.

Pay: €14.15-€15.00 per hour
