We are a downtown yacht club looking for outgoing and competent staff to work in a fun and busy environment. Opportunities for full and part time available. College students home for the summer are also welcome. Experience is not a must. We are looking for people willing to learn and have a drive to succeed.

Job Responsibilities and Requirements:

(This position requires serving AND bar tending) Nights and weekend availability a must!

Must be friendly and approachable to members and fellow employees;

Must be able to adapt quickly and learn new menus in a timely manner

Take food and beverage orders directly from members.

Set up and work events in a formal and banquet setting.

Mix ingredients, such as liquor, soda, water, sugar, and bitters, to prepare cocktails and other drinks as ordered and in compliance with company standards.

Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of food and beverage products, menus and promotions.

Maintain a clean working area by sweeping, wiping down tables, keeping a clean bar area, etc. as needed.

Provide guidance to members on club activities, dining options and general club and regional information.

May be indoor or outdoor setting.

Slice and pit fruit for garnishing drinks.

Stock bar with beer, wine, liquor, and related supplies such as ice, glassware, napkins, or straws.

Serve and have a knowledge of wine, and bottled or draft beer.

Other duties as assigned.
