We are seeking a Process Engineer / Metallurgist to join our team in Brisbane. In this role you will have the opportunity to support the ongoing development and implementation of our pyrometallurgical technologies. This position reports to the Principal Metallurgist - Pyrometallurgy. This is a rare opportunity to join a small team making industry-changing technology. You will be responsible for:
- Technology development
- Participation in test-work programs
- Process and flowsheet design
- Plant design
- Project delivery
- Marketing
- Site support
- Commissioning
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Working rights in Australia
- Tertiary qualification in Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering, or Mineral Processing with a background in pyrometallurgy
- 2 years minimum site experience
- Experience in both operations and pyrometallurgy flowsheet design – viewed favourably
- Willingness to relocate to Brisbane to work at our head office
- The ability to travel overseas if required
