Job Description

Main Purpose

Taoglas Next Gen IoT are pioneers of sensor to cloud technologies that enable remote equipment monitoring at scale in vertical markets such as Energy, Industrial, Construction and Healthcare. We offer secure end-to-end IoT solutions, developing the full solution from hardware and firmware to cloud management and data analytics.

You will be working with a team of engineers to develop Taoglas’ Edge IoT device. This is a low power embedded platform for sensing and reporting environmental data gathered from its
onboard sensors.

Responsibilities

• Developing enhancements, updates, and programming changes for Taoglas’ low power IoT devices.

• Participating as a member of a project team of other firmware engineers to develop reliable and robust solutions.
• Contributing and reviewing code using git
• Testing features

Knowledge and Experience

• Will be a self-motivated quick learner with a keen interest in product design and manufacture.
• Strong C Programming
• Digital Electronics
• Assembly
• Internet of things technologies (e.g Bluetooth low energy, MQTT, LoRA etc)

• Communication protocols (i2c, UART, SPI etc)
• Knowledge of computer networking
• Linux
• Scripting Languages (Python, Bash etc.)
• Have genuine interest in technology
