Job Summary

The Accounting Staff member supports the daily financial operations of the organization by performing routine accounting tasks, maintaining accurate financial records, and assisting with reporting and reconciliation activities. This role ensures compliance with company policies and basic accounting standards while supporting the accounting team with timely and accurate data.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processing
• Record and maintain accurate financial transactions in the accounting system
• Prepare and post journal entries under supervision
• Reconcile bank statements, general ledger accounts, and subsidiary ledgers
• Assist with invoice verification, expense reports, and payment documentation
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities
• Maintain organized financial records and supporting documentation
• Respond to internal inquiries related to accounting transactions
• Assist with audits by preparing requested schedules and reports
• Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned
