Accounting Supervisor

Job Responsibilities:

• Review, documentation and improvement of existing processes based on the optimal set up in an SAP environment
• Instruct, supervise and review work assigned to subordinates to assure propriety of work.
• Ensures accuracy of transaction entries created by Accountants/ Cashier before posting into the Accounting Books.
• Ascertains compliance of transactions processed with documentary and approval requirement of customers.
• Coordinate resolution of deficiencies and other issues in customer instructions.
• Oversee transaction flow within the Accounting Operation process to maintain efficiency and timeliness of processing.
• Initiate and complete periodic financial statement closing of customer Accounting Books.
• Initiate and complete tax and other statutory reporting requirements.
• Ascertain that Service Levels agreed with customers are completed and delivered.
• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures for IBS.
• Provide IBS management with financial and operating reports for performance evaluation and decision making.
• Ensure compliance with the provision of the Accounting Operations Manual.
• Presentation of SLA monitoring results with the clients

Skills & Qualifications:

• With Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent; preferably a Certified Public Accountant.
• Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in Finance/General/Cost Accounting or equivalent.
• Preferably with SAP user experience
• Expertise in accounting standards, transaction recording, tax compliance and financial reporting.
• Knowledgeable in computerized accounting applications and process-based transaction accounting.
• Demonstrates leadership that would result into achievement of team objectives.
• Good interpersonal skills and effectively manages subordinates.
• Customer focused and service delivery oriented.
• High standard for quality and drives to achieve excellence.
• Willing to work on a day shift schedule
• Willing to work in hybrid setting (work-from-home)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php25,000.00 - Php35,000.00 per month
