Duties

• Provide personalized customer service by listening carefully to customer needs and recommending suitable products based on their preferences and experience levels
• Educate customers on product features, effects, and proper usage through engaging product demos and clear communication
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for transactions, including cash handling
• Maintain accurate inventory records by stocking shelves, merchandising displays, and conducting regular stock checks
• Assist in product merchandising to create attractive displays that highlight new or popular items
• Upsell complementary products to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Ensure compliance with all legal regulations and store policies regarding age verification, product storage, and sales limits

Qualifications

• Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially in environments where customer service is key
• Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership skills in team settings
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively
• Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and retail math for accurate transactions
• Knowledge of cannabis products or willingness to learn through training sessions
• Excellent phone etiquette for handling inquiries professionally over the phone
• Ability to perform basic math calculations quickly and accurately for sales and inventory management
• Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
• Experience in merchandising, stocking shelves, and maintaining an organized retail space
