Job Overview:
We are seeking a hardworking and detail-oriented Construction Cleaner to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing thorough post-construction and site clean-up services to ensure newly built or renovated spaces are clean, safe, and ready for occupancy. You will play a critical role in preparing construction sites for final inspections, client walkthroughs, and handovers. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments, take pride in hands-on work, and understand the importance of safety and precision on active job sites.
Duties:
- Perform rough, final, and touch-up cleaning at construction sites
- Remove construction debris, dust, adhesives, paint overspray, and other residues from surfaces
- Clean and polish windows, glass partitions, mirrors, and fixtures
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and pressure wash floors and surfaces as required
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break areas, and common spaces on newly completed sites
- Safely dispose of trash, scrap materials, and leftover construction materials in accordance with site regulations
- Operate cleaning tools and equipment such as industrial vacuums, floor scrubbers, and pressure washers
- Follow site safety guidelines, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Identify and report safety hazards, damage, or incomplete work to supervisors
- Ensure job sites are client-ready and meet company quality standards
Skills & Qualifications:
- Previous experience in construction cleaning, post-construction cleaning, or similar labor-intensive roles preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques for removing construction dust, caulking, paint, and debris
- Ability to operate industrial cleaning equipment safely and efficiently
- Familiarity with construction site safety standards and OSHA regulations
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality results
- Ability to work in physically demanding conditions, including lifting, bending, climbing, and standing for extended periods
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Strong communication skills and ability to follow detailed instructions
