Dental Receptionist

Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Dental Receptionist to join our dental practice for Mondays . The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing the front desk operations. This is a part time position . This role requires a strong understanding of dental office procedures, proficiency in electronic records, and the ability to handle administrative tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients warmly and manage their check-in and check-out processes.
• Schedule appointments and confirm patient visits using our scheduling software.
• Maintain accurate patient records in electronic medical record systems .
• Handle phone calls, emails, and inquiries with professionalism and courtesy.
• Process patient payments and manage billing inquiries.
• Assist with insurance verification and claims processing.
• Collaborate with dental staff to ensure smooth operations within the office.

Experience

• Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist in Canada is an asset
• Familiarity with Open Dental OR similar software is highly desirable.
• Strong administrative skills with attention to detail and excellent organizational abilities.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and staff.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.

Pay: $20.00-$27.00 per hour
